Ned Turney is a Principal with Morgan Samuels where he focuses on addressing leadership needs for clients in the financial services and private equity sectors.
Ned has eight years of executive search experience developing talent acquisition strategies and managing execution for positions from the VP-level to the C-suite. He has deep industry expertise within consumer and commercial banking and insurance. Within those sectors, Ned has placed executives in a variety of technical functions such as analytics, finance, operations, and risk.
Prior to joining Morgan Samuels, Ned spent three years in the Financial Services Practice at Korn Ferry, a global organizational consulting firm. He began his professional career with Reilly Partners, a boutique executive search firm, where he partnered with private equity and served as a generalist. At Reilly Partners, Ned completed searches ranging from the entertainment and professional sports industries to the non-profit sector.
Ned received his MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and holds a BA in Sociology from Hobart and William Smith Colleges, where he was a member of the varsity sailing team. Before entering executive search, Ned spent a year as an AmeriCorps Volunteer, teaching at a middle school for under-served boys in Hartford, Connecticut.
