Edison International Retains Morgan Samuels to Place the Managing Director, Wind Generation – Edison Mission Group
September 22, 2011 – Morgan Samuels, a retained executive search firm, announces the placement of Krys Rootham as Managing Director, Wind Generation – Edison Mission Group. Edison International is a generator and distributor of electric power and an investor in infrastructure and energy assets – including renewable energy. Edison Mission Group is a holding company which acts through numerous subsidiaries to manage the competitive power generation business and other unregulated subsidiaries of Edison International.
Krys Rootham had most recently been the Operations and Maintenance Director at BP Wind Energy North America, Incorporated. Previous to that, Rootham was the Director, Wind Service, Americas at Siemens Energy. Rootham received his MBA from University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, his BS in Electrical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University; Cleveland, Ohio, and his BA in Physics from Edinboro University in Edinboro, Pennsylvania.
