Darin DeWitt is a seasoned senior executive with three decades of experience leading and executing executive search engagements in the world’s most competitive markets. Over the course of his career, Darin has successfully placed hundreds of C-level and senior executives across industry-leading healthcare and life sciences companies, establishing a wide network of executive talent relationships that spans the U.S. and select global markets.
In his current role as a Senior Client Partner for Morgan Samuels, Darin focuses on Healthcare, Private Equity and Financial Officer engagements. He meets the ever-evolving demands of the industry with his signature style of contagious energy and entrepreneurial spirit. Guided by the belief that transformative leadership teams create better value, he has successfully advised both leading and emerging companies, as well as private equity firms and venture capital groups, on talent acquisition strategy and the execution of executive search.
Before joining Morgan Samuels, Darin led Odgers Berndtson’s Healthcare Services Practice. Previously, Darin was Co-leader and a Partner in Caldwell Partners’ Life Sciences and Healthcare Practice for more than a decade. Prior to Caldwell, Darin served as Principal in Heidrick & Struggles’ Global Life Sciences and Private Equity practices. He was also a member of Highland Partners’ global Healthcare and Private Equity practices until its acquisition in October 2006.
Darin began his career in executive search as a Research Associate in Ward Howell’s Healthcare practice and progressed through increasingly senior roles. That early experience of systematic research continues to serve as a foundation for his execution philosophy of scouring the entire talent market.
