Grace Bray

Research Consultant

“There are plenty of difficult obstacles in your path. Don’t allow yourself to become one of them.”

Approach everything with intention and intensity. That is Grace Bray’s approach to every aspect of life, whether it is education, exercise, relationships, or responsibilities. It is also her approach to work, which is just one of the many reasons why she loves being a part of the Morgan Samuels team.

Grace joined Morgan Samuels in 2020 as a Research Consultant. In this role, Grace is responsible for the setting of search strategy for new engagements, including industries targeted and identification of best-in-class companies and executive talent. This includes all facets of search support, including but not limited to: name generation, verification, and industry, competitor, and compensation analysis. Grace feels that these skills and responsibilities align well with her thirst for knowledge and love of intense, deep work.

Prior to joining Morgan Samuels, Grace was a Research Consultant at CarterBaldwin, an executive search firm based in Atlanta where she specialized in higher education, nonprofits, and ministries. Earlier in her career, she also taught Social Studies/History, Mythology, and Vocabulary for seventh-tenth grades at Midtown International School, a private school for gifted students. She remains devoted to scholarly work and research in her free time.

A long-time resident of Atlanta, Grace earned her B.A. in Religious Studies from Georgia State University and her Masters in Theological Studies from Emory University. Her nose is often stuck in a book, but when she is not trying to solve the world’s problems, she can be found cooking, doing CrossFit, or going on adventures with her husband, Travis, and their two dogs, Sam and Nina.
