
There is no challenge too intimidating for Shelley, whether it’s running (and winning!) 100-mile trail races, living abroad on her own, or building marketing teams and programs from the ground-up. No matter the feat, Shelley rises to the occasion and excels in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
Shelley brings to the team a strong and well-rounded background in marketing, with experiences in academia (where she taught classes on branding and marketing at North Carolina State University), advertising agencies (where she developed search, social media, and visual identity strategies for clients), and industry (where she built high-performing marketing teams at B2B SaaS technology companies). She most recently has focused on helping to scale tech start-ups, build the business, and see them through successful acquisition. At each company, Shelley has been dedicated to helping organizations leverage thought leadership, content, data analytics, and technology to address their pains and challenges and to effectively grow and scale. Today, Shelley is responsible for marketing, communications, and business development strategy for Morgan Samuels.
Shelley holds a Masters of Science degree in Global Marketing and a Bachelors of Science degree in Brand Management and Marketing, both from NCSU, and is still a proud member of the Wolfpack. She currently lives in Charlotte, NC with her husband but continues to run races throughout the southeast and travel frequently around the world.
