Todd has over 25 years of experience placing senior leaders in roles across multiple industries, including healthcare, technology, and consumer sectors. He was previously a Partner at Catalyst Advisors, where he specialized in advising board members and C-level executives on succession planning and career transitions.
Before joining Catalyst, Mr. Hutchings spent nearly two decades at Egon Zehnder, where he guided clients in addressing complex talent challenges, particularly at the convergence of healthcare, technology, and consumer industries.
Todd’s earlier experience includes leadership positions at Roche Diagnostics as Director of Business Planning and client-focused roles at Monitor Group and Mitchell Madison Group. He began his career at McKinsey & Company as an Engagement Manager, followed by three years in GE’s Corporate Audit Staff and Financial Management Program, where he gained extensive financial and operational expertise. Throughout his career, Todd has built a reputation for guiding companies through talent strategies and business transformations.
Todd earned a Bachelor of Commerce from McMaster University and an MBA from the University of Western Ontario. He previously served on the board of Exceptional Minds, an organization focused on training and employment for young adults on the autism spectrum.
